Ten years ago, Simon Morden published Thy Kingdom Come, a collection of interconnected post-apocalyptic short stories. With the demise of the publisher, the collection has been unavailable, and only now returning to print in this very special limited edition.

Thy Kingdom Come contains twenty stories. Ten tell the story of a young boy growing up in Plainview, Nebraska, a small town in the very heart of America. Through his eyes, we see changes - political and social - sweep the American landscape, and transform his idyllic youth into a darker, more ambiguous adulthood.

The other ten stories range across Europe, charting the stories of ordinary people caught up in a nuclear Armageddon. Religious fanatics commit acts of hideous terrorism in a bid to bring about the Second Coming. The stories are terrifying, heartbreaking, shocking and even beautiful.

Fans of Simon Morden's Philip K. Dick Award-winning Metrozone will be further delighted, as the events of Thy Kingdom Come also serve as a prequel to the adventures of Samuil Petrovitch.
